MODERN composite boards
The elegance and finesse of the MODERN composite board is due to its carefully calibrated grooves. The faux-slat effect is simply dazzling.
The MODERN boards fit together on top of each other. The size of the tongue of each board has been calculated so that when stacked, the joint between each board is invisible. The technique disappears as if by magic behind the effect it produces.
MODERN planks are available in a choice of 3 colours:
Innovative co-extrusion technology
MODERN boards are coextruded on all sides. This means that the wood composite board is wrapped in a protective polyethylene layer.
This layer, brushed and matt, gives a finish very close to the fibres of the wood material. The board is completely water-repellent, and rainwater runs off the surface without being able to penetrate the protected composite wood.
20-year guarantee against stains and discolouration
The thin polyethylene film that covers the entire board effectively protects the wood composite against water and any moisture absorption. Anti-UV additives have also been added to this thin film to prevent discolouration over time. They are therefore guaranteed for 20 years against discolouration and stains.
Like PREMIUM boards, MODERN boards are guaranteed against insect and termite attack.
Aluminium reinforcement
Although the expansion observed is minimal, at just 1 mm per linear metre for a temperature variation of 30°, we recommend installing optional aluminium reinforcements.
These aluminium reinforcements fit into the slots in the slats. We recommend reinforcing around 3 slats per 180 cm high panel.
Combining with decors
MODERN composite planks can be interlocked not only with each other, but also with all the decors in the BOSTON Concept: HERO, CRIOS, PAXOS and LAMIA decors.
The décor can be positioned at any height in the panel. The grooves in the panels and the décors are compatible. This means you can come up with all sorts of unique combinations.
